Day Care Centre - Hewitt House
The Day centre is part of the Ernest Luff Homes complex, adjacent to the Main Home and offers a warm welcome to all over the age of 65 years.
The centre is open from 9.30am-3pm Monday to Friday and offers a hot midday meal, tea, coffee and activities which include armchair exercises, art/craft, bingo, board games, reminiscence sessions etc. Suggestions from our guests are always welcome.
The cost for a visit to us is inclusive of the above and transport can be arranged to and from the Day Centre for an additional cost. We can also offer bathing and hairdressing for which an additional charge is payable.
Guests need to book their required days in advance and these can be from one to five days a week or just for the occasional day when necessary.
